How to connect the iPads using crossover cable and TCP/IP

Modified on Mon, Mar 11 at 2:06 PM

Step 1: Connect the crossover cable to the adapter on both ends.

Step 2: Connect the adapter to the iPads (controller and the operator tablet).

Step 3: In the iPad (controller and operator) settings, click on 'Ethernet,' located just below the WiFi settings, and then select 'USB 10/100/1000 LAN.' It should be manually configured.

Operator make  IP address 192.168.0.1  Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 and router IP blank

Controller  make  IP address 192.168.0.2  Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 and router IP blank

Step 4: Go to the Athena WDS app, navigate to settings, and click on 'iPad Local Socket Settings.' Make sure to enter the IP address of the operator 192.168.0.1 so that the controller and the operator can communicate with each other. There should be a green indicator on the operator indicating that they are connected.

Step 5: Test the system if it is working.
