ACC Reports & Analytics
The Athena Control Center is an invaluable tool equipped with the Athena Weapons Detection system (WDS) — it offers insights into throughput metrics upon entry. This advanced system allows security teams to monitor real-time alerts, ensuring rapid response to potential threats. Users also benefit from the ability to access and export detailed reports by date, facilitating informed decision-making regarding security measures and budget allocation.
Furthermore, the Athena Control Center is designed with collaboration in mind, enabling facilities to invite as many users as needed to participate in monitoring and analysis activities. By harnessing these capabilities, teams can optimize their security strategies and effectively manage resources.
Accessing the User Settings
First, open your browser and go to Athena Security’s WDS website — Log in to your account using your username and password. If you do not have a username, reach out to Athena Support for assistance at 1-833-928-4362.
Upon logging in, you will be directed to the default Alerts view. In the top left corner, your organization's name will be displayed — for instance, "Dan" is the name used in a demo environment.
Click “WDS”, in order to access your reports/analytics, as shown below
Then, select the date range you want to display
**Note: You can view data for a single day, or a date range up to 30 days. If you wish to view data for more than +30 days, the system will email you the report to the email on file.
Please note that it is necessary to select a WDS Station to be able to view that tablet's data. For example, by checking the “controller” box, we’ll be able to view the data for that lane specifically.
**Note: You can view more than one lane’s data at a time.
After you select the “Controller”, the data graph will populate as shown below
The default Object Types include 10 items, which can be customized. You can deselect the checkbox to view only specific objects.
List Confirmed objects
Gun
Knife
Other - C
Vape
List False objects
Glasses case
Items combined
Laptop
Other - F
Walker
Wheel Chair
**Note: If you wish to modify the object types beyond the default ten (10), please contact Athena for assistance.
Split Graphs Option by Date — Use this feature if you'd like each day to be displayed individually rather than as a summary within a single graph.
**Note: This option allows you to view data for each date within a specified range (for example, February 1st - 6th, with reports for each individual day such as Feb. 1, 2, 3… 6). Each day represents a full 24-hour period.
Export Report to PDF will download the report to your computer.
If you check "Split Graphs by Date" and then click "Export Report", a pop-up window will appear allowing you to enter your email address. Click "Submit" to confirm and receive the PDF report via email, or click "Close" to return to the WDS report page.
