The deployment diagram of the On-Premise version of Athena’s Walk Through Metal Detector / Weapons Detection System is displayed in the following network topology scheme below.
For the On-Premise version, you will need to deploy WTMD/WDS systems at all of your building's entryways which people will be entering, and deploy Athena's Control Center in your data center. Please open a ticket and let us know what IP address you will assign to the Athena Control Center.
Each WTMD/WDS deployment is made up of one or multi WDS systems, 1 Athena's Control Center. Athena Control Center can currently handle up to 5000 entryways per customer. The backend, updates, and monitoring services can be run on the same server. You will need port 443 outbound opened up from each WTMD/WDS iPad to the Athena Control Center. customerurl.Athena-security.com will need an IP address so please create a ticket to provide us with the DNS name and IP Address of your choosing.
IP addresses to lock down your firewall’s outbound ports can be provided by creating a support ticket, as this information is specific to your deployment.
