Modified on Thu, Feb 27 at 11:32 PM

Error: iPad Local Socket Issue
Cause: The issue occurs when the iPad user opens the app and accidentally hits "Don't Allow" when prompted to allow local network access.

Steps to Fix:

  1. Go to iPad Settings:
Open the Settings app on the iPad.
Note : If the iPad is locked, CALL SUPPORT.

  1. Locate WDS App:
Scroll down and find the WDS app in the list of installed apps.

  2. Allow Local Network Access:
Ensure that Local Network access is enabled for the WDS app. If it's off, toggle it on.

  3. Escalate the ticket. (encryption keys mismatch)

Note: If the iPad is 20 feet away, make sure to only use Bluetooth and P2P, and turn off local socket communication.
