Incident Response Reporting Feature

Feature Overview

The Incident Response Reporting (IRR) feature allows for an officer to quickly capture important information from a secondary screening once an alarm has been triggered on the system.  This information is then captured in the Athena Control Center where it can be viewed and exported as a CSV for additional analysis and sharing.  The IRR feature allows an organization to quickly digitize their reporting by allowing them to submit their current paper document for conversion into a customized form within the Athena WDS System.  Photos can also be taken of found or confiscated items to verify the item that was taken and its condition.  Additionally, for items that will eventually be returned to the owner a phone number can be captured and used to contact the owner to remind them to pick up the item.

Feature Operation

There are two ways to access the IRR feature within the Athena WDS system.  The first method is by having the system configured to auto launch the IRR once an item has been confirmed as a threat object by the officer during secondary screening.  The second method for generating an IRR is by clicking “IRR” in the bottom left corner of the screen, this will launch the IRR feature.

Should the screening location be busy and the officer does not have time to fill out the IRR, they can always return at a later time to fill out the IRR by clicking the “IRR” button on the bottom left corner of the screen.
