Security Officer Check-In

How It Works

Security Officer Check-In is a feature that asks the assigned officer to Check-In, and records when the officer's face is matched from the pre-loaded Officer Gallery to the face in view. The default setting uses the Operator Unit front facing camera for the Check-In. If there is no Operator Unit, then the Controller Unit is default, and the officer can walk-through the system to achieve the check-in. All officer's must be enrolled into the Officer Gallery.

Back Story

This feature (along with Alert Resolution) was created at the request of both a large organization along with their third party security officer service because more monitoring is needed, it helps keep officer's alert, and it has become a metric associated with the quality of the service. Other comments from customers:

A. If the Security Officer does not have enough time to check-in then a manager might raise the question to see if there was an incident or other matter.

B. This feature measures if the assigned officer is at the post.
