Alert Resolution

The Alert Resolution feature enables the ability to input data by confirming and marking True threat items, or marking False items. A drop down pick list is displayed below, in the top right image with the pre-populated pick list values for "Confirm" of Gun, Knife, etc. The "False" selection will have pre-populated pick list values of Wheelchair, Walker, Computer, etc and other known items that regularly are false positives on the 2B Federal Standard setting.


This feature helps create accountability in the system, and more clarity on what exactly is being found in the secondary screening process. The items are 

Under WDS Reports, a platform user can see the count and a bar graph for over a customized period of time for all of these True and False selections. This reporting is available for PDF Export, which is found in the top right.


Other Configurable Options:

Automatic annotation: Operator can add typed annotation in a text box. 

Automatic Incident Response Report: Organizations can request to Athena support to load an Incident Response Report (IRR) that is automatically prompted after a True threat is found to document the incident. See also, "Incident Reporting".

IRRs Can also be generated just by tapping the "IRR" bottom in the bottom left, and the Incident does not have to be connected to an Alert.


Helpful Tips From The Field:

The Operator Screen below is showing a subset of all Alerts. Most implementations will just show the 

"ObjectDetected" Alert, as seen below, and ask Security Officers to always make a selection, as part of the organizations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The blue bar at the bottom of the picture, where it says "Secondary Screening Needed" is where the Operator taps to pull up the options.  Most customers automatically generate the IRR.
