Athena Control Center - Release Notes v2.8

Introduction 

This release note outlines the new features and bug fixes included in the latest version of Athena Control Center (v2.8). We've focused on improving functionality and addressing critical issues to enhance the user experience.


New Features 

  • NetID: Changed default columns shown to improve readability. Combined relevant columns. Added colors to alert users when a datapoint isn’t within an acceptable range.

  • VMS Details: Changed default columns shown to improve readability.

  • Account Admin: New user role that allows an admin to create and edit stations, locations, and user information.

  • AR Glasses: Ability to send text messages through the AR Glasses platform. Integration completed with Athena Glasses and Meta Glasses. Addition of a glasses report to see the status of sent messages.

  • Glasses User: New user type that only has access to the AR Glasses platform.

  • Report Presets: Ability to create report presets and default presets to reduce replicating report settings.

  • X-ray Monitor: Created page to review clear x-ray alerts to allow a second layer of item detection.

  • Encryption Key Rotation: Created the ability for our Support team to be able to rotate encryption keys for lost iPads to ensure unauthorized access isn’t allowed.

  • X-Ray Report: New report to show important X-ray data points. 

  • Telepresence Video Upload: Allow the upload of Telepresence videos remotely.

  • New Password Reset Email: Password resets will be sent from a new email as the previous ones were always marked as spam.

  • CRM Signatures: Added the ability to show signed forms from a visitor within the CRM page.

  • Digital Pass: Improved digital pass access tokens and changes the numbering system of digital pass ids to increase uniqueness.

  • Object Scans: Added X-ray alerts to be seen within the Object Scans report.

  • IRR Alert: Fixed an issue where the IRR alert link showed a blank image.
