The deployment of the hybrid cloud version of Athena’s gun detection system is displayed in the following network topology scheme.
For the hybrid cloud version, you will only need to deploy AI Core boxes at all of your building locations, while Athena takes care of the rest.
Each AI Core box can currently handle up to 50 cameras. The backend, updates and monitoring services are handled by Athena. You will need port 443 outbound opened up from each AI core box to the Athena cloud servers.
IP addresses to lock down your firewall’s outbound ports can be provided by creating a support ticket, as this information is specific to your deployment.
