“How does the Alerts Screen work in your Gun Detection System’s interface?”
The Alert Screen for active shooters works the following way:
When an alert comes into your console you will see the threat type, camera name, date&time and the alert status listed across the top.
Below the camera footage screen you will see buttons to confirm or discard the threat. You will also be provided a link to the camera map, which will show you the camera location, including building and address.

Scroll down to reveal more options:
“Add a new mark” option allows you to change your response from true to false or vice versa.
“Play alert video” button allows you to play a 10 sec clip of the selected alert.
“Copy alert video URL” button copies the video link into the memory.
“Open Alert Image in new tab” option allows you to see a larger version of the image in a new page.

At the bottom of the screen you will see “Edit Alarm history for this alert” button. Details of the alert will be logged for auditing purposes.
