The system will find the human figure based on face, ears, and eyes. The system will find all faces in the field of view and reports temperature on each face. However, the FDA guidelines is to take temperature 1 at a time, at the same distance as the Heat Source Reference Point (HSRP) blackbody because this is the most accurate. Any face farther away, or closer than the HSRP blackbody will cause greater inaccuracy.
CDC and FDA guidelines suggest social distancing, so each person must maintain a distance of 6 feet away from another, FDA guidelines state only one person may go through the system at a time, to remain the most accurate in system design.
Our system is setup to measure the temperature of 1,000 to 2,000 people per hour. It's fast, frictionless, and contactless. It virtually eliminates the bottlenecks caused by someone taking temperatures manually. Assuming social distancing requirements are at 6 feet apart in the entry queue, it takes about 2-3 seconds per person. Our system is fast and can handle crowds of people.
